AMERICAN
SADDLEBRED HORSE FUTURITY OF IOWA, INC.
The Board of Directors of the
American Saddlebred Horse Futurity of Iowa, Inc. met on Saturday, April 25, 2009
at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Horse barn during the Springfest Horse Show.
The meeting was called to order at 3:35pm
by Alan Burnison. Board members present included Allen Hartz, Alan Burnison,
Joel Roberts, Dawn Striegel, Carolyn Haselhuhn, Casey McMahon, Eric McAtee and
Jackie Rongish. Absent was Judy Steenhoek.
The minutes from the January 24, 2009
board of directors meeting were also presented. A motion to approve the minutes
as read was made by Alan Burnison and seconded by Joel Roberts. Minutes were
accepted.
Old Business:

Allen
Hartz has decided to resign from the futurity board, effective immediately

Vice-President
Alan Burnison has agreed to take over the President’s position

Dawn
Striegel was nominated by Eric McAtee to become Vice-President. The board
approved this nomination

Board members will submit
names of people who would be interested in becoming part of our board – the
names / supporting information for these
possible nominees should be emailed to all other board members prior to the
next meeting, so we can be prepared to discuss the nominations

Carolyn Haselhuhn made a motion to
adjourn the meeting, with a second by Eric McAtee. The meeting adjourned at 4:55pm.
